Drier air will make for one more comfortable night for the Gulf Coast
Expect a mostly rain-free Saturday night along with comfortable dewpoints
Rain chances will remain below 10% for the rest of your Saturday night, as dry conditions remain in place for one more evening. Overnight lows will settle to the lower 70s, and a few locations inland could see lows in the 60s.
Sunday will start the gradual increase in moisture for the region, thus boosting rain chances compared to Saturday. Most locations will see dry free conditions, but a few afternoon showers are possible farther south.
Confidence is increasing on a surge of tropical moisture streaming into the region next week. Some modeling suggests a weak area of low pressure could form in the gulf, but the most likely outcome will be expanded rain coverage.
