MYRTLE BEACH S.C. (WPDE) — The United States Air Force took the stage during Carolina Country Music Fest weekend, as Staff Sgt. Victoria Park opened up Day Three by singing the national anthem in front of a large crowd.
After her performance, Park said her goal is to inspire others.
“Us being able to again inspire that patriotism with them while we’re celebrating 250 years of the birth of this nation is pretty special to be able to do that with the civilian population, because that’s kind of what our our goal is to honor inspired connect,”
Park said.
The Myrtle Beach Fire Department Honour Guard stood behind her on stage. Park’s fellow airmen also cheered her on, which she said is the best team.
Park said music has been part of her life since she was little, and she is grateful for the opportunity to do what she does now.
