After record-breaking heat Monday, Tuesday will feel much better. It will still be a warm day, but forecast high temperatures should stay in the low 90s. Watch out for scattered showers in the afternoon.

Rain chances will wind down Monday night. Clouds and humidity will linger, so expect a warm morning on Tuesday.

Your Gulf Coast Weather Most Accurate Forecast has rain chances increasing throughout the workweek. We could see some scattered showers Tuesday afternoon, but rain coverage spikes in the week. Wednesday through Saturday will feature widespread downpours and some thunderstorms.

This is all caused by a plume of tropical moisture that will ooze in later this week. Not only will we see rain, but we will also feel the humidity increase. Expect feels-like temperatures to be in the triple digits later this week.
