The Florida State Seminoles got more good news on the recruiting trail today, as a longtime priority target announced his commitment to FSU.
Green is a 5’10, 160 pound receiver who plays for Camden County in Kingsland, Georgia. He has long been atop Tim Harris’ wide receiver target board and took his official visit earlier in June. The Seminoles were able to beat out fellow finalist Georgia as well as Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Virginia, and Pitt for Green. He is considered the 290th best player in the nation by composite rankings (36th best WR, 31st best in GA), but 247 values him as the 181st best player in the nation.
Green sports a 4.1 GPA and was named to the Georgia 6A All-Region First Team on offense in 2025. Over two seasons, Green has tallied 89 catches for 1,153 yards (13 YPC) and 14 touchdowns. His speed and shiftiness set him apart and he can factor into special teams as well.
This is a big win for Tim Harris, as Georgia was pushing for Green and UVA also tried a strong offer before FSU convinced him to cancel his official to Charlottesville. Now the Seminoles need to hold on, because AS WE ALL KNOW, verbal commitments don’t mean as much now. Green joins fellow blue-chips Jernard Albright and Jayden Miles as very recent additions into the 2027 class.
