KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Police officers from Western Michigan University helped an injured fawn this week.

A local resident named Josh discovered an injured fawn with a broken led at Asylum Lake on Thursday.

He contacted Western Michigan University Public Safety, who located a wildlife rehabilitator that agreed to take the fawn.

The fawn was taken to Forgotten Souls Rescue and Rehab, WMU Public Safety said in a post.
