Glover, Street Racer Collection getting free Nintendo Switch updates to add PS1 version

As announced by QUByte today, Glover and Street Racer Collection will both be receiving free updates on Nintendo Switch to add their PlayStation versions. The two will have their patches arrive in 2027.

Glover on the PlayStation 1 came out after the N64 version. There were quite a few changes on PS1 because the hardware was less powerful. It resulted in downgraded graphics, pre-rendered cutscenes, different physics, and more.

Street Racer was also quite different compared to the SNES original. It incorporated fully polygonal 3D tracks and vehicles, used different track layouts, and more.
