Amsterdam NBA star Andre Jackson Jr. hosting basketball clinic

ALBANY, NY (WRGB) — A local NBA star is coming home to host a basketball camp next weekend.

Amsterdam native and Albany Academy alumnus Andre Jackson Jr. and Foundation 44 are hosting a basketball clinic on Saturday, June 27th.

There are two sessions for camp, in the morning and the afternoon. The camp is for players aged 11- 14.

Jackson Jr. currently plays for the Milwaukee Bucks and was selected 36th overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic.

Jackson Jr. played college basketball at UConn, helping the team win the NCAA championship in 2023.
