BYU added another commitment from the big official weekend as 3-Star cornerback Kamoni Adams announced his commitment to BYU Monday afternoon.

The Georgia native is BYU’s third corner commitment in the 2027, joining one of the strongest cornerback classes for BYU in recent memory. Adams has a impressive offer list, which includes schools such as Maryland, Florida State, Auburn, Kentucky, Missouri, Arizona State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Wisconsin, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, North Carolina, Syracuse, Kansas, and several others.

Listed at 6-feet and 170 pounds, Adams has great closing speed and ball skills. He joins New Jersey cornerback and Las Vegas corner Demichael Burks to give BYU a good trio of 2027 corners. Many were understandably concerned when Jernaro Gilford left to Michigan after a decade in Provo, but BYU’s cornerback recruiting and ability to land players outside of the state of Utah hasn’t dipped at all.
