LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — After seeing Darius Acuff drafted seventh overall in the first round of the 2026 NBA Draft, the Razorbacks capped off the second round with two more draftees.
The Cleveland Cavaliers drafted Arkansas guard Meleek Thomas with the 34th overall selection, and forward Trevon Brazile was picked with the 35th selection by the Denver Nuggets.
The pair became the 49th and 50th Razorbacks selected in NBA Draft history.
Under coach John Calipari, they are the 64th and 65th players selected in the NBA Draft. It is also the fifth time in program history where at least three Razorbacks were selected.
Thomas, alongside Acuff, made up the top-scoring freshman pair in Division I since 2019-20, with 1,424 combined points. Thomas scored 20-plus points nine times, including a career-high 30 points in the Hogs’ regular-season finale win at Missouri.
Thomas joins a Cavs team that features a bounty of guards, but he could still fit in as a rotational piece running at the two or the three spot.
Brazile was a significant contributor for the Hogs ever since he transferred into the program from Missouri.
Brazile played the best basketball of his career down the stretch of his final season. In the Razorbacks’ stretch that saw them go 12-3, Brazile averaged 13.8 points and 8.3 rebounds.
