MADISON, Wis. — There will not be fireworks after the Madison Night Mares’ game on Friday.
The team was originally planning to have a fireworks show after their June 26 game against the Wausau Ignite however the show will be postponed to Aug. 1.
In a statement, the team said the show was being postponed because there is a nearby bald eagle nest where the eaglets have not yet fledged. The decision was made with guidance from Madison Parks.
The Night Mares are in the middle of an undefeated season and will host La Crosse on Aug. 1.
