Landon Weber of Parkston and Lyric Riepma of Sioux Falls claimed the top honors in the boys’ and girls’ 16-18 year-old divisions of the South Dakota Golf Association’s Southeast Junior Tour event on Thursday at Yankton’s Fox Run Golf Course.

Riepma shot an 82 to finish two strokes ahead of Astoria’s Ava Crooks (84). Trey Speer of Chamberlain and Josie Bormann of Sioux Falls each shot 85.

Beresford’s Taylor Kilgore finished fifth at 86. Centerville’s Kaia Bear and Beresford’s Lexi Sommervold each shot 89.

Weber shot a 1-under 71, edging Nick Simon of Crooks by one stroke (72). Jack Schettler of Sioux City, Iowa, was third at 73.

Yankton’s Gus Sprakel and Abe Hanson each shot 76. Logan Brandon of Jefferson, Atticus Slater and Cash Slater of North Sioux City and Sean Meiske of Dakota Dunes were part of a group at 77.

In the girls’ 14-15 year-old division, Maddison Bacon of Dell Rapids shot a 79 to beat out Vermillion’s Brynlee Baedke (85). Harrisburg’s Sawyer Hage won the boys’ 14-15 year-old division with a 75, beating out Canton’s Jackson DeJong and Elk Point’s Gavin Frank, each at 76.

Vermillion’s Braxton Merideth won the boys’ 12-13 year-old intermediate division, shooting a 78 to beat out Mitchell’s Griffin Lyle (80) and Yankton’s Will Hesse (81).

Brandon’s Madelynn Lahren won the girls’ 12-13 year-old division, shooting 43 for nine holes. Jefferson’s Hudson Monk won the boys’ 12-13 year-old division with a 50.

Irene’s Ellie Olsen won the girls’ 10-11 year-old division with a 51. Rylan Karels of Sioux Falls claimed the boys’ 10-11 division with a 38.

Salem’s Marney Heisinger (63) and Sioux Falls’ Gavin Korkow (41) claimed the 9-under divisions.
