SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WSBT) — The South Bend Museum of Art is getting a major investment as it approaches its 80th anniversary.
The museum has received a one million dollar grant from Lilly Endowment Incorporated.

“This is an opportunity for us to really go into our 80th anniversary year in 2027, looking at the future and sustainability for the museum itself. We’re grateful for the Lilly Endowment’s trust, our community’s trust over the past 80 years of being a cornerstone for the arts and the visual arts in our city,” said Shaffer.
