Former Tulsa men’s basketball standout Miles Barnstable has signed with the San Antonio Spurs and will compete with the team during the 2026 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
The Summer League tips off Thursday, July 9, with the Spurs opening against the Atlanta Hawks at 3:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
Barnstable made an immediate impact in his lone season at Tulsa, averaging 14.6 points per game while setting a program record with 103 made three-pointers. The Sheboygan, Wisconsin, native also thrilled fans with a series of highlight-reel dunks and delivered one of the season’s biggest moments, knocking down a buzzer-beating three-pointer to lift the Golden Hurricane to a road victory over Western Kentucky.
His standout season earned him Second Team All-American Conference honors, along with a spot on the conference’s All-Newcomer Team.
The Spurs enter Summer League after capturing the Western Conference title and advancing to the 2026 NBA Finals. The NBA Summer League will be held July 9-19 on the campus of UNLV in Las Vegas, featuring all 30 NBA teams competing in 76 games. Each team is guaranteed at least five games before the semifinal round on July 18 and the championship game on July 19. Every game will be broadcast on Prime Video or ESPN platforms.
