In an Instagram update, the heavy metal legend hinted that more new songs are on the way.
“I’m heading back out on tour in Europe! In 2027, I’ll be returning to club stages across Europe with my HYTRESS Tour, together with my full live band. These new songs have been such a special journey for me, and I can’t wait to finally bring them to life on stage and share them with you,” she captioned the post.
Furthermore, Jansen shared that the upcoming tracks are more personal and “heavier,” inspired by the music that shaped her as an artist.
Moreover, the singer-songwriter said she was eager to share this new chapter with her fans and couldn’t wait to see everyone.
“This music feels close to my heart. A little heavier, more direct, and deeply rooted in the sounds and influences that shaped me as an artist. I’m so excited for this next chapter and to experience it together with you,” she said before wrapping up her message by hinting at “more shows to come.”
The presale for the Hytress European solo tour is now underway, while general ticket sales begin on July 1 at 12:00 p.m. CET.
Apart from her 2027 solo tour, the Nightwish vocalist has just released her single “Run.”
The new song marks her first solo track since the release of her 2023 debut album Paragon.
Under REVAMP Music and in collaboration with Warner Music, the lead vocalist revealed the meaning behind the song.
“To me, RUN is about no longer making yourself smaller to fit into a shape that was never yours,” she mentioned in an Instagram post, adding, “It’s about taking off the mask, trusting your own movement, and daring to be seen that way. Musically, it feels like the start of something new. A little heavier, a little more direct, but still honest, still melodic, still completely me.”
With the newly released track and an exciting solo tour lined up for next year, Jansen is entering a promising new chapter in her solo career.
