Best Bet for United States vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina

USA Win and Over 2.5: The United States won their opening two matches convincingly and rested nine players in their last game against Turkey in which they lost. Three or more goals were scored in two of those matches, while three or more were also scored in two of Bosnia’s three games. The U.S. are the better team here and will get the victory and advance to the Round of 16.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup continues on Wednesday as the United States faces Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Round of 32. Below Ciaran Doyle will give his best bet for the match on DraftKings Sportsbook.

The United States is currently ranked 15th in the FIFA rankings, while Bosnia and Herzegovina sit at 61st in the world.

The U.S. won Group D alongside Turkey, Paraguay and Australia. They beat Paraguay 4-1, Australia 2-0 and then fell to Turkey 3-2 in a game that didn’t matter. The Americans have looked great so far in this tournament and the re-emergence of Christian Pulisic is another boost for them in this one. Pulisic missed the Australia game with a calf issue but returned off the bench in the last game against Turkey. The USA will have their full complement of options for this one and I think it’ll be too much for a resilient Bosnian team who have done well to make it this far.

Bosnia were drawn into Group B of the World Cup alongside Canada, Switzerland and Qatar. They had a tricky matchup first, facing one of the host nations, Canada. Bosnia took the lead in that one, but in the end it was a 1-1 draw. Up next they faced Switzerland, where things looked good for 74 minutes until the Swiss opened the scoring. Just six minutes later, Bosnia received a red card. The floodgates opened from there and they ended up losing 4-1. Finally, they faced Qatar in a must-win match. It was a comfortable 3-1 win in the end, and the result was never in doubt.

The United States won their group, while Bosnia were one of the eight best third-placed teams. Three or more goals were scored in two of the USA’s games, and the same can be said for Bosnia. There is a reason why the gap in the FIFA rankings is so wide between these sides. The USA are the better team, have the home advantage, and their attack has been cooking, scoring six times in the two games where they played their starters. I don’t expect a blowout here, but it should be a comfortable win for the United States.
