Lady Rose accessorised her outfit with the same necklace she wore to Ascot earlier this month when she joined the wider Gloucester family to celebrate the 80th birthday of Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester, on the final day of the royally beloved race meet. On that occasion, she brought her daughter, Lyla Gilman, and was joined by her sister, Lady Davina Windsor (who was accompanied by her daughter, Senna Lewis), and her brother, the Earl of Ulster, who brought along his children, Xan, Lord Culloden, and Lady Cosima Windsor.

Born Rose Victoria Birgitte Louise Windsor on 1 March 1980, Lady Rose Windsor is the youngest of the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester’s children. The royal family gathered at Barnweill Church to celebrate her baptism that July. Her godparents were named as Prince Edward and Lady Sarah Chatto. Growing up in Kensington Palace, she studied at St George’s School, Ascot.

While growing up, she would often spend Christmases with the royalsPrincess Diana seemed especially fond of Lady Rose, holding her hand as the family left the chapel in Windsor. After graduating, Rose pursued a career as a film art assistant, with credits including Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and Margaret Thatcher: The Long Walk to Finchley. On the small screen, she worked on Little Britain. She is credited as ‘Rose Windsor’.
