Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes coaching staff have done an incredible job on the recruiting trail for the 2027 recruiting class. The ‘Canes currently hold a total of 20 committed players in the cycle, with 19 of them shutting down their recruitments.

The latest addition to the class came yesterday afternoon as four-star wide receiver Eli Woodard, who decommitted from the USC Trojans a few months ago has committed to play for Miami and Mario Cristobal.

In addition of Woodard, Miami currently still holds the No. 3 spot in the 2027 recruiting rankings. However, national analyst Steve Wiltfong believes Miami goes pound for pound for the No. 1 recruiting class in America.

According to the 247Sports Composite Team Rankings, the Texas A&M Aggies currently hold the No. 1 spot as the best class in the 2027 cycle. Notre Dame trails behind at the No. 2 spot.

Headlining the monster-class are four five-star prospects: quarterback Israel Abrams, wide receiver Nick Lennear, defensive linemen Jaiden Bryant, and defensive back Donte Wright.

The Hurricanes currently hold a total of 15 blue-chip players.

Also headlining the class is four-star linebacker AJ Randle, who saw a major jump in the rankings. Jumping from the No. 8 linebacker in the country to the No. 2 spot. Andre Hyppolite and Jaylyn Jones also make up a dynamic duo in the safety room and are a major part of this Hurricanes class.
