LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson has been named to her eighth WNBA All-Star Game appearance.
Wilson was among the 10 starters announced Thursday for the annual showcase.
Now in her ninth season with Las Vegas, Wilson leads the league in scoring with 25.7 points per game. She is also fourth with 9.4 rebounds and tied for first with 2.0 blocks per game.
The reigning WNBA MVP has earned an All-Star nod for every season in which she has been eligible. There was no All-Star Game in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This also marks the seventh time that she has been named an All-Star starter.
Sue Bird holds the record for WNBA All-Star selections with 13.
