CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – Hyde Park Golf and Country Club members are able to get back on their home course now that officials have completed a massive $10.4 million golf course restoration and clubhouse renovation project.
Hyde Park, the third-largest nonprofit country club in Greater Cincinnati at $12.4 million in fiscal 2025 revenue, reopened the golf course for play beginning June 20, club General Manager Nick Smithson told Cincinnati Business Courier. It had been closed since July 13, 2025, when the project officially began. The clubhouse renovation was unveiled June 19, when the club held a rededication and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The course project entailed $8.4 million of the total cost, Smithson said. The goal was to restore the course to its century-old layout by famed golf course designer Donald Ross in 1921.
