Insiders allege to Star Magazine that Trudeau prefers a more modest approach to his lifestyle and travel. However, Perry needs an entourage that “can handle her security, makeup, clothes and more.”
“Even Katy would admit she’s a little addicted to being catered to. She can’t really get anything done without an assistant, and he doesn’t operate that way at all,” they added. “Justin isn’t afraid to hop on an economy flight if it will get him where he needs to go. He has a humble approach, whereas Katy seemingly hasn’t flown any way except privately in 20 years!”
They also alleged that “Katy likes being inside a bubble of people who she trusts implicitly. She needs her people around her and they have to travel in style too… Justin’s modesty has yet to rub off on Katy, no matter how hard he tries.”

For those who don’t know, back in 2025, Perry and Trudeau started reportedly dating after a July 28 date night in Montreal, and Trudeau attended Perry’s Lifetimes Tour in Montreal on July 29.
Then, on Oct 11, 2025, the Daily Mail obtained photos of Trudeau and Perry kissing aboard Perry’s 24-meter yacht in Santa Barbara, California. Weeks after that, in late Oct 2025, they made their first official outing as a couple at Perry’s birthday party in Paris!
On Dec 6, 2025, Perry and Trudeau made their Instagram debut! Perry shared pics on her Instagram with the caption reading, “tokyo times on tour and more ( ◠‿◠ ) 🎄🍣🐡🥞💐☃️♥️.” (And since then they’ve been inseparable really!)
