Maine native shocked after finding raccoon stuck in the front grille of his car

A man from Norway, Maine, who now lives in Kent, Ohio, got quite a surprise when he got to work Monday morning.Josh Twitchell says a raccoon darted out in front of his car and he heard a thump, but did not see the animal and thought it had run into the woods. Much to his amazement, when he got to work, he found the raccoon sitting in the front grille of his car, apparently uninjured.He says the animal rode in the front of his car for about two miles and then climbed up into the engine block after he parked. Twitchell was planning to let the animal get out on its own.There did appear to be some damage to the front grille of Twitchell’s vehicle.
