COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – ESPN Senior NBA Insider Shams Charania says EuroLeague Defender of the Year, Alpha Diallo has signed a one-year deal with the Denver Nuggets worth $1.4 million.
“The former Providence standout and Euro star makes the NBA jump at 29 years old on a guaranteed deal for the West contenders,” Charania posted on X.
Diallo grew up in New York before moving to Denver later on, playing basketball for Denver West High School.
He’s an American–born naturalized Guinean professional basketball player for AS Monaco of the French LNB Pro A and the EuroLeague. The forward is 6′7″and should strengthen the Nuggets’ defense.
He played four years of college ball for the Providence Firars (2016-2020) where he averages 12.2 PPG over his career.
