Futurity Pastoral invites the beef industry to its 2025 On Property Bull Sale, happening on Thursday, August 28, at Glen Ayr, Baradine, NSW.
The sale will begin at 1pm.
On offer will be 60 Shorthorn bulls (52 two-year-olds, eight yearlings) and 40 Charolais bulls (25 two-year-olds, 15 yearlings), offering a carefully selected line of industry-proven genetics.
Futurity Pastoral bulls are bred to perform in real-world commercial operations and deliver long-term value across generations.
There are multiple reasons for choosing a Futurity Pastoral bull, including:
Proven, predictable genetics that can be relied upon;Consistent quality from a trusted program;Performance-focused selection for fertility, maternal attributes, structure and carcase traits;Decades of performance recording, breeding for commercial success.
All bulls have been semen tested and assessed for breeding soundness prior to sale.
Futurity Pastoral’s breeding goals continue to prioritise the characteristics that will best serve commercial and seedstock producers alike.
This year is especially significant as the stud proudly marks 50 years of Temana Charolais bloodlines.
The journey began in 1975 when Terry and Maylene started preparing Charolais-cross steers for carcase competitions.
Their remarkable performance ignited a passion that inspired them to artificially inseminate (AI) their base herd of Red Poll, Angus, Friesian and Murray Grey cows with the Charolais sire Lazy JR Cadet.
Prospective buyers are encouraged to inspect the cattle prior to sale. Inspection on sale day will be from 10am.
