PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — The Portland Trail Blazers broke the game open in the second quarter and enjoyed a double-digit margin most of the way in a 111-84 win over Minnesota in Summer League play on Monday night in Las Vegas.
Portland started to pull away late in the second quarter when Jayson Kent finished off an alley-oop, and teammate Chris Youngblood buried a corner 3-pointer to put the Blazers up 14 points at the half.
Yang Hansen had a big night with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Youngblood knocked down 3 of 7 from behind the arc to lead Portland with 20 points.
Portland (1-2) wraps up its summer league stay Thursday night against Denver.
