Pro golf legend Tiger Woods visited the neighborhood outside Fort Worth where he’s designing an 18-hole golf course for the first time on Dec. 16.
In Dec. 18 posts on X, the social media site previously known as Twitter, Woods described a “mighty fine design visit” to the development that will be known as Bluejack Ranch in Aledo. The course is slated to open in 2026.
Announced in October, Bluejack Ranch is planned as a gated community of nearly 600 homes across 914 acres that will include an 18-hole golf course designed by Woods. The community is being developed by the folks behind Bluejack National, which was founded by Andy Mitchell and Kristin Mitchell along with PGA Tour player J.J. Henry. Woods helped design the first championship golf course in 2014 within the 767-acre Bluejack National community in the Houston area.
“Hats off to this exceptional Fort Worth development,” Woods wrote. “Something special is on the horizon.”
