Flash Flood Warning issued as heavy rain, storms move through
CINCINNATI —
Heavy rain in the Greater Cincinnati area on Friday night is causing flooding on roads and bringing frequent lightning.
A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for part of Hamilton and Warren counties until 9 p.m. on Friday.
Heavy rain impacts some neighborhoods as well as the potential for gusty wind. Chances last into the evening. These could bring flash flooding and frequent lightning strikes.
Water rescues are underway across Hamilton and Warren counties, and interstate lanes have been flooded.
Storms return Saturday, primarily in the evening as a cold front dives south. Some storms could be strong or severe, with strong wind being the primary threat.
