BREAKING NEWS: $2.8 Million coming to Clinton

ATLANTA  – FEMA approved more than $5.5 million in funding to support eight recovery projects in South Carolina communities affected by Hurricane Helene and other disasters.

The approved funding is provided through FEMA’s Public Assistance program to reimburse communities for the costs of debris removal, critical infrastructure repair and emergency protective measures.

Notable projects include:

$2.8 million to Clinton to repair utilities.

$956,000 to the South Carolina Department of Transportation to repair roads.

$923,000 to Santee Cooper to repair utilities.

$699,000 to Greer to restore public facilities.

$171,000 to Pickens County to repair roads.
