Azzi Fudd’s chances to win the Rookie of the Year award
Fudd started the season slow but has since been living up to expectations as the No. 1 pick. She is averaging 13.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.8 steals per game.
While Olivia Miles may be the frontrunner in the Rookie of the Year race, Fudd has closed the gap. A strong finish to the regular season will further boost her chances of winning the award. Some may argue that the Minnesota Lynx guard may have already done enough to secure it. However, anything’s possible and Fudd has the skill set to give Miles a run for her money,.
