Whale watchers in Monterey Bay witnessed orcas launching out of the water last weekend as they tailed a pod of dolphins.
The owner of Sanctuary Cruises, which runs whale watching tours in Monterey Bay, said a boat captain witnessed the killer whales fly into the air between 10 to 15 times on Sunday.
The orcas are natural predators and were feeding on the dolphins.
The boat captain also spotted the orca pod on Monday.
