Woman, man shot inside Worcester cigar bar, police say

A woman and man were shot early Wednesday inside a cigar bar in Worcester, Massachusetts, police said.The shooting happened at 12:35 a.m. at Victory Bar & Cigar at 56 Shrewsbury St. Responding officers rendered medical aid, and the victims were taken to a local hospital. where they underwent surgery. They were listed in stable condition, police said.No one was taken into custody; however, police said there is “no reason to believe there is a danger to the public.”The incident remains under investigation.
