On Wednesday, Fremont County Coroner Randy Keller confirmed that a deceased person was removed Monday from the west side of Skyline Drive.
Skyline Drive was closed throughout Sunday night and into Monday because of the incident.
Originally located at about 9 p.m. Sunday, the decedent’s identity, age, and gender have yet to be released, pending an autopsy, Keller noted.
The Daily Record reached out to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office and the Cañon City Police Department for more details but, at the time of this article, has not received a response.
