Five-star 2026 recruit Saniyah Hall has her sights set on one major accomplishment before she joins JuJu Watkins at USC next fall. The top prospect recently opened up about the dream that keeps driving her through her final high school season, and it’s not another individual award.

What Does Saniyah Hall Want to Accomplish Before Joining USC?

During a conversation with Overtime Select, Hall didn’t hesitate when Watkins asked what she hoped to achieve in her senior year.

“Definitely winning a state championship. I haven’t done that yet. We were really close, but I haven’t got [sic] that yet. So if I could get that, that would be really cool,” she told her future Trojan teammate.

This candid admission reveals the hunger that still drives Hall despite her already impressive resume. While she has collected nearly every individual honor imaginable, the team accomplishment she craves most remains out of reach.

When Watkins pushed her to explain what separates her game from other top recruits, Hall revealed the basketball IQ that has coaches raving about her potential.

“I think I’m very versatile. I also think I see the floor very well. Being able to read different situations and pass it to people who are open. But definitely being able to play many positions, I feel like that’s very important,” she explained.

Why Does Hall’s Recent Dominance Signal Championship Potential?

Hall’s latest performances prove she has the talent to capture that elusive state championship. At Montverde Academy, she dominated competition and carried her team deep into national tournaments last season.

Her success on the international stage further validates her elite status. As the FIBA U19 World Cup MVP, Hall outplayed the world’s best young talent, averaging 19.9 points per game.

Now at SPIRE Academy, Hall has the ideal platform to pursue her championship dream. The school’s basketball program offers the high-level competition and resources necessary to prepare for both her senior season goals and her eventual transition to USC.

With Watkins recovering from her ACL injury and expected to return by the time Hall arrives in 2026, the foundation is set for a formidable partnership. Both players bring a championship mentality and the work ethic required to deliver titles to Los Angeles.
