Happy San Diego Comic-Con weekend! Lucasfilm Publishing will hold a Star Wars comics panel on Friday, July 24, at 12 pm PDT. While Mad Cave Studios appears to be the star of the show, we will get a peek at upcoming titles from Marvel and more.
Marvel just released its October solicitations, but a few titles are incomplete and will be revealed in full during the convention. Three Star Wars titles are among them: The Fall of Kylo Ren #3, The Book of Boba Fett #3, and The Book of Boba Fett #4.

While the most exciting aspect of The Book of Boba Fett‘s reveal will be in its cover, The Fall of Kylo Ren‘s tease could mean anything. The available tagline of “Kylo Ren vs. The Knights of Ren… and something far worse!” is definitely ominous. Place your guesses now before the panel likely reveals more.
Charles Soule’s upcoming miniseries, which begins in August, has been the subject of much discussion in the Star Wars comics community. The Fall of Kylo Ren will complete his trilogy of Kylo Ren-focused comic book narratives with Star Wars: The Fall of Kylo Ren, a five-issue miniseries picking up on plot threads established in 2019’s The Rise of Kylo Ren and 2025’s Legacy of Vader – The Reign of Kylo Ren.
In case you missed it, Soule talked about the series in his latest newsletter, and promised that the new miniseries will contain substantial links to different eras of Star Wars stories across multiple mediums.
Soule also hinted the near future will be important for him and his future with Star Wars, writing:
“In other Star Wars news, this next week or so is a big one on that front for this guy. Cross your lekku for me.”

While Soule could just be referring to the reveal of The Fall of Kylo Ren #3, if you’ve been following the author for long enough, he doesn’t often use such strong language without something bigger coming. We don’t have long to wait for answers.

Collider recently shared a six-page preview showing the Supreme Leader taking on challenges from all corners as he arrives just in time to turn the tide in a tense battle over Hetzal Prime, and subsequently manages the clashing egos of two of his highest-ranking subordinates as the First Order finds itself threatened by a planetary insurgency. The first issue of Star Wars: The Fall of Kylo Ren will hit shelves starting August 12, 2026, and will be released monthly. Meanwhile, Charles Soule’s previous works, Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren and Star Wars: Legacy of Vader – The Reign of Kylo Ren, are both available in trade paperback collections.
