Black bear spotted in Carroll County(Nena Rhodes)
JACKSON, Tenn. (WBBJ) – There’s been another bear sighting here in west Tennessee.
Wednesday evening, a black bear was spotted on Damron Road in Yuma in Carroll County at around 7:15 p.m.
The bear seems to be taking a leisurely stroll through the country side.
This is one of many bear sightings in West Tennessee in the last few weeks.
Wildlife officials say if you spot it, keep your distance, don’t approach it, don’t feed it, and don’t try to snap a close-up photo.
A reminder to secure your trash, pet food, and bird feeders to keep the bear moving.
