CHICAGO, Ill. — The EF3 tornado that devastated the Appleton area earlier this week was a horrifying storm. Matt Jung, a safety for Wisconsin Football is from Neenah, and is heartbroken for his hometown.

“It’s devastating, thankfully my family and my house we’re all okay. But, we know a lot of people whose houses were destroyed or whose loved ones’ house is gone. Prayers go out to the Appleton area. It’s horrible, devastating to think about all the people that are affected. I can’t fathom to think about how much that would affect my family and I. So, prayers go out to them all and it’s terrible.”
