Here we go again: Another Heat Advisory in place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday

  • July 30, 2026

Another Heat Advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday as dangerous heat and humidity push heat index values between 105 and 109 degrees.

We’ll start the day with a mix of sun and clouds and a hot, humid afternoon, with temperatures climbing into the mid-90s.

Most locations stay dry through much of the day, but scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop after 5 p.m. as the sea breeze moves inland.

Some storms could produce frequent lightning, torrential downpours, and gusty winds before gradually winding down overnight.

Looking ahead, the pattern remains typical for late July into the weekend, with highs in the lower to middle 90s, muggy mornings, and daily afternoon and evening thunderstorms becoming increasingly widespread Saturday and Sunday.
