Movie star Sam Elliott stops by Monterey Fish Company to buy fresh fish
MONTEREY, Calif. —
Monterey has been brimming with star power recently after country music star Zach Bryan was spotted downtown this week.
Apparently, a month ago, Hollywood star Sam Elliott visited Municipal Wharf No. 2 to buy fish.
The Monterey Fish Company said the “Road House” star stopped by to buy wild salmon during the season when local fisherman Joe Cricchio recognized him and asked for a photo.
Elliot is also known for roles in Tombstone, Ghost Rider, The Big Lebowski, Hulk and more.
The Monterey Fish Company said celebrities often visit and that local NFL legend Herm Edwards recently stopped by.
