SAN ANTONIO — The wait is almost over for NBA fans, and Spurs supporters have plenty to look forward to. The full 2025-26 NBA schedule is set to drop this week, and Victor Wembanyama will be featured in a number of nationally televised games.
The Spurs will be part of the NBA’s high-profile two-night opening doubleheader, starting their season on the road in Dallas on Oct. 22. Fans will get a first look at Wemby facing off against Cooper Flagg, one of the league’s other rising stars.
This matchup marks Wembanyama’s return to action following last year’s All-Star break, when he sidelined due to a blood clot. Tip-off at the American Airlines Center is set for 8:30 p.m.
While the home opener details are still to come, Spurs fans can mark their calendars for the already announced Christmas Day matchup, which promises a marquee clash. The Spurs will travel to Oklahoma City to take on the reigning NBA champions, with tip-off slated for 1:30 p.m.
The NBA season officially kicks off on Oct. 21, with the action back on NBC. The opening-night doubleheader features the Rockets taking on the Thunder at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Warriors and Lakers at 9 p.m.
