Hull followed her opening-round 69 with an even-par 71 on Friday at the Women’s Open.
The 30-year-old Englishwoman is still waiting for her breakthrough at the major championships.
Charley Hull has five runner-up major finishes to her name, including last year’s Women’s Open and this year’s Women’s US Open.

And whatever happens between now and the end of day two, she will have a good chance to win her very first major at the AIG Women’s Open over the weekend.
Earlier this week, Hull actually admitted that Royal Lytham does not suit her eye, but you wouldn’t be able to tell after watching her through two rounds this week.
How Charley Hull plans to win her first major at the Women’s Open
Hull spoke to reporters after her second round on Friday.
The Englishwoman responded when asked how she plans to attack the weekend at Royal Lytham & St Annes.
“I’m just going to go at everything,“ Hull said.

“I hit it okay today. I got a couple of weird breaks, like on 16, I knifed my shot into the green. So, I was in a divot and it was just so firm. So when you’re in a divot, it’s hard to get into the ground.

“I think apart from that, I’ve just got a carry on, just keep thinking of my good swing thoughts, and the nerves should be settled down by then and I’m looking forward to going at everything at the weekend.“
That attitude should serve Hull really well over the weekend at the Women’s Open.
If she continues to be aggressive, she will surely get the rub of the green one week and break her major duck.
Charley Hull: ‘I love bunkers’
Crucially, Hull holed out from the green-side bunker on her 17th hole on Friday.
The birdie got the Englishwoman back to even-par for her round, and she spoke about just how much she loves playing out of bunkers after her round.
“I love bunkers,“ Hull admitted.
“I think I’m a very, very good bunker player.
“It was just, I had to splash it out, get it running, and yeah, I holed it.“
Hopefully Charley Hull doesn’t find too many green-side bunkers over the weekend at Royal Lytham, but if she does, she’ll be more than confident of getting up and down from them.
