Buy Parking for Football Season



COMMERCE – East Texas A&M University debuts a new layout and policies for parking and tailgate for the 2025 football season.
 
Beginning this fall, fans can now tailgate immediately adjacent to their parking spot in designated lots, which will be referred to as the Bud Light Tailgate Lot. 
  
The new location of the Bud Light Tailgate Lot is on Neal Street in between the Field House and Memorial Stadium. Tailgating is only allowed in this designated parking lot. The new location maintains many of the same amenities of the previous locations, including close proximity to Memorial Stadium, but now with the added benefit of allowing fans immediate access to their vehicles.
 
“This change will serve to create the best college football tailgating experience in Northeast Texas,” said director of athletics Jim Curry. “By bringing tailgating and parking together into one seamless transaction, we have reduced the overall cost for fans while improving their game day experience by allowing for a more streamlined tailgating and parking experience.”
 
“The result will support a better fan experience through more tailgating, more fun, easier setup and breakdown, and smoother access into Memorial Stadium to cheer on the Lions!”

The Bud Light Tailgate Lot spots are assigned on a “first come, first served” basis on the day of the game. Unlike previous years, no spots can be reserved in advance.

Fans parking in the Bud Light Tailgate Lot may extend their tailgating set-up into the grass area adjacent to their parking spot. All parking lots will continue to open five (5) hours prior to kickoff.

Lion fans attending football games can also secure parking in Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, as well as the BA Lot and the Welcome Center Lot. No tailgating is permitted in these parking lots.

With the exception of the Welcome Center Lot, all parking – including the Bud Light Tailgate Lot – is priced at $100 for the season and $25 per game. Parking in the Welcome Center Lot is provided as a free benefit for all Lion Athletics Scholarship Fund donors at the Pride Level ($2,400+) and above, or available to purchase for the season only at $200.

Parking can now be purchased at LionAthletics.com/Tickets. 
 
Fans needing ADA accommodations in reserved parking lots will still be required to purchase a parking pass but should contact LionTickets@etamu.edu to receive an assigned accessible parking location.
