Emergency crews warn of rising water levels in Carroll County

CARROLL COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – Pulaski County Emergency Management is warning residents of rising water levels in Carroll County.

Residents along Big Reed Island Creek on Rock Creek Road should monitor water levels closely, according to Pulaski County Emergency Management.

Officials say water levels are out of the banks and within feet of the road and some camp sites.

The basin received a several inches of rain in Carroll County Saturday night, according to officials.

Officials say water and debris are working their way down stream to the New River.

Pulaski County Emergency Management says it will continue to monitor water levels.
