‘We have a female victim inside the bedroom’: Towson homicide under investigation

Kate AmaraTOWSON, Md. —

According to Baltimore County police, a woman was murdered inside one of the buildings of the Cromwell Valley apartment complex along Treeway Court Sunday night.

Police say she was shot and killed around 11:55 p.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene.

“We have a female victim inside the bedroom,” a radio feed signaled.

However, authorities have yet to confirm or deny details of the homicide investigation that have been shared on Baltimore County emergency responder radio feeds from just before midnight.

Some of the discussion included information about a woman shot in the face and that there may have been as many as three children in the apartment at the time.

“Said that there are three kids at that location…caller said he heard a gunshot and arguing,” according to the feed from Broadcastify.

Police said there is no danger to the public and the community, as detectives determined the incident to be isolated.

Baltimore County police have made no arrests and a suspect is not in custody. The identity of the victim has not been released.

The incident remains under investigation.
