With both the Wings and Mystics playing elite defense of late, the 166.5 game total is much too high for our liking.

The Washington Mystics earned their fourth straight win with a victory over the Dallas Wings on Friday night, but Paige Bueckers & Co. will look to snap that streak and avenge their most recent loss.
Both teams have put the clamps on defensively in recent games, and my Wings vs. Mystics predictions call for a low-scoring contest in the nation’s capital.

Wings vs Mystics best bet: Under 166.5 (-110)
Over the last 10 games, the Washington Mystics and Dallas Wings have offered elite defensive performances, with both teams ranking in the Top 3 in defensive rating and in the Bottom 3 in pace.
Over that 10-game stretch, both defenses rank in the Top 4 in fewest points surrendered, fewest opponent FTA, lowest opponent FG% and lowest opponent 3P%.
Dallas is 13-17 to the Under, and Washington is 14-14.
They’ve hit the Under in two head-to-head meetings this season, combining for 156 and 161 points, respectively.
I’ll bet on a third straight Under and play this one down to 162.5.

The Wings have surrendered the fourth-most points in the paint and the fifth-most rebounds, setting Shakira Austin up to thrive. Over her last 10, Austin has averaged 31.7 PRA and hit the Over on this line seven times. Play up to 29.5.
The Mystics can take control of this game with their bigs. Austin and Kiki Iriafen combined for 50 points and 19 rebounds in Friday’s win, and the team won the rebound battle 42-32.
Washington is 7-1 ATS as a home underdog, so it’s not a jump to pick it as an outright winner with such a small spread.
