2 dead after FedEx semi crashes into wall on Louisville interstate; ramp blocked
LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Two men are dead after a FedEx semi hit a wall in Louisville.
The semi crashed around 5 a.m. Thursday on the I-65 S ramp to I-264 E/Watterson Expressway (exit 131A).
LMPD said it appears the semi was headed northbound on the ramp when it missed the curve, crossing into the southbound ramp and hit a rock wall head-on.
Police said two men died.
The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating. Traffic in the area could be shut down for another two or three hours.
