The Tempo can neither score against the Dream nor stop any aspect of Angel Reese’s game tonight in Atlanta, per our WNBA expert.

The Toronto Tempo and Atlanta Dream face off for the fourth time this season, and the Dream will look to complete the season sweep as 13.5-point favorites with a home matchup at Gateway Center tonight.
Coverage begins at 8 p.m. ET on Peacock.
Toronto’s interior defense is arguably the worst in the W, and my Tempo vs. Dream predictions anticipate Angel Reese stuffing the stat sheet in front of the home crowd.
Read my WNBA picks to see why I’m taking the Over on Reese’s combo line, the Under on a Marina Mabrey prop, and how I’m drafting a +525 SGP on Monday, Aug. 10.
Tempo vs Dream prediction
Tempo vs Dream best bet: Angel Reese Over 32.5 points + rebounds + assists (-115)
Atlanta Dream superstar Angel Reese ranks second in the WNBA with 11.8 rebounds per game and comfortably leads the league in offensive boards at 8.1 a night.
On the season, the Toronto Tempo have allowed the second-most points in the paint per game (43.1) and the most second-chance points (14.5). Toronto owns the second-worst defensive rebound percentage (65.8) and has surrendered the most offensive rebounds (10.1).
Over her last eight, Reese has hit the Over on this line five times and cleared it in two of three meetings with Toronto.
Play up to 34.5.

Tempo vs Dream same-game parlay
Over the Tempo’s eight-game losing streak, Toronto ranks dead last in net rating at -23. No other team is worse than -9.5 in that span. The Tempo lost six games by 14+ in that span, and I’ll play this spread up to 14.5.
The Tempo’s offense has struggled without Brittney Sykes, with the scoring average dropping from 88.8 to 86.1, and the already-poor 109.6 offensive rating falling to 107.8. Atlanta ranks third in defensive rating over the last eight games, and this should be a low-scoring blowout.

Tempo vs Dream player prop pick
Marina Mabrey Under 17.5 points (-120)
Over the last seven games, Marina Mabrey has averaged just 15.7 points per game on 37.2% shooting, while scoring 18+ twice. A nagging neck issue forced her to miss a game, and though she’s probable tonight, she will likely be limited.
The Dream have allowed the fourth-fewest points and second-fewest FGA and 3PA this season. Over the last eight games, Atlanta has surrendered the sixth-lowest 3P% to guards, and 46% of Mabrey’s points come from beyond the arc.
Mabrey’s recent form and Atlanta’s defensive success on 3-point shooters point to the Under as low as 15.5.
