— The Legends and Championship divisions hit the links at Lakeview Golf Course and Detroit Country Club for Day 3 of the 94th Pine to Palm on Wednesday.
The Legends duked it out in their opening round of match play for the open spots in Thursday’s quarterfinals. Back-to-back and Fargo’s Leland Peterson moved on as the No. 1 seed with hopes of a three peat still alive.
Over at DCC, Edina’s Torger Ohe made history with his 15-under-par 126 (61, 65), beating out William Czeh (2018), who his finished his two round of qualifiers with a 128.
Ohe received the top seed in Thursday’s match play with eyes on his first title after finishing as the runner-up in 2023 and 2024. The upper bracket tees off at 12:30 p.m. while the lower bracket hits the course at 1:24 p.m.
