SEDONA, Ariz. (WCHS) — A man wanted on sexual abuse charges in Parkersburg was arrested by the United States Marshals Service in Arizona, the agency said.
Jonathan Gregory Bowersock, 35, of Cottonwood, Ariz., was taken into custody around 7:30 a.m. on Friday in Sedona, according to a press release from the United States Marshals Service.
The release said Bowersock is accused of sexually abusing a female juvenile between 2014 and 2020. Investigators said upon looking into the case, they learned Bowersock had fled the Parkersburg area and moved to Arizona.
Bowersock is currently being held at the Yavapai County Jail in Arizona and is awaiting extradition back to West Virginia, according to the release.
