Netflix is WINNING!

The streamer just acquired the two-part documentary film ‘aka Charlie Sheen,’ which chronicles the star’s struggle with fame and the infamous 2011 firing from ‘Two and a Half Men.’

The 59-year-old actor opens up for his doc, which also speaks to his family, friends and past cast members, including Denise Richards, Heidi Fleiss, Jon Cryer, Sean Penn, Ramon Estevez, Brooke Mueller, Chris Tucker and even his drug dealer, Marco.

It’s been a redemption tour of sorts for Sheen. Recently, he finally patched things up with “Two and a Half Men” executive producer Chuck Lorre.

The logline for the doc was also released, “Tabloid black hole Charlie Sheen knows what’s been said about him, and he’s finally ready to confess. ‘aka Charlie Sheen’ tracks his upbringing in Malibu to his effortless rise to mega stardom — and dramatic fall, all within the public eye. With a stunning clarity earned through seven years of sobriety, Sheen openly speaks about the subjects and events he’s never discussed publicly before. Through extraordinarily candid interviews with his family, friends, and cast members, the most outrageous moments of Sheen’s life are revisited with raw emotion and exceptional warmth, painting a portrait of a flawed man whose penchant for self-destruction is ultimately no match for the ferocious love and forgiveness he inspires in those closest to him.”

Andrew Renzi, who also directed the Netflix hit, “Pepsi, Where’s My Jet?” in 2022, is the producer for Sheen’s new documentary.
