Prince Harry is looking to return to the UK “every few months”, according to a new report.
The royal was last back on British soil in July, during which he met up with his father King Charles and his stepmother Queen Camilla at their Highgrove home in Gloucestershire. Following the private family reunion, the Duke of Sussex is said to be coming back to the UK “more and more” over the next year, a source close to Harry told The Times.
According to the report, the royal will be back for a week in September to carry out engagements during the annual WellChild Awards, a UK charity he has been a royal patron of since 2007. While his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, tagged along on Harry’s most recent trip, it has reportedly not been decided if they will join him on his next visit.
The insider claimed the royal “wants more of a foothold” in the UK, adding that he “always loves” to see his family.

Harry’s last UK trip
Harry returned to the UK at the start of July to mark the start of a one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games, which will be hosted in Birmingham. While back in the UK, the royal reunited with his father for the first time since September 2025.
It also marked the first time Harry’s children had seen their grandfather in person since they visited in 2022 for the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Following the meet-up, friends of the Prince said he was feeling “buoyed, very happy, and really energised”, according to a source in The Times.

Harry has championed WellChild, the national charity for seriously ill children, for nearly two decades in his role as patron.
Speaking to HELLO! exclusively when he attended the annual awards last year, Harry said: “I think once you become a parent yourself, everything changes. It’s emotional enough not being a parent and seeing what these families go through, but then when you have your own kids or when you’re expecting your own kids, that’s when it really hits you.”
