2028 Cass Technical (Detroit Mi.) offensive tackle Antijuan Wilkes is one of the top player in America at his position and is being heavily recruited by multiple programs around the country by the likes of 41 schools. The two home-town colleges, Michigan and Michigan State are both working to keep him close to home and fight off multiple contenders in his recruitment.
Wilkes will be very busy this upcoming fall visiting and exploring his college options around the country. He has scheduled multiple game-day visits, including the Miami Hurricanes rivalry game against Florida State on October 17th. According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Wilkes is currently viewed as a five-star prospect. The highly rated lineman is also ranked as the nation’s No. 2 best player at his position, No. 28 in the nation, and No. 2 in the state of Michigan. He measures in at 6-foot-5, and 280-pounds. This off-season he has been putting in the work, gaining 30 pounds as he previously weighed in at 250 pounds last season.
He originally grew up watching the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He led his high school team to an overall record of 13-1 and 5-0 in league play, serving as a big-time force in the trenches for the Technicians. As an offensive lineman looking for a college to develop you into the NFL, it’s hard not to consider the Miami Hurricanes with Coach Mario Cristobal and Alex Mirabal. The two have produce multiple top players into the NFL Draft, most notably Francis Mauigoa.
